Welcome!

My name is Kelly Moore Clark, and I'm based out of the REAL LA...yes
Louisiana! I live here with my wonderful hubby Kelly Clark, and our way
too cute little girl, Posey, whom you will see much too often on this
blog(I can't believe I've become one of "those" mothers.)

This is where you will see my most recent work as well as
what’s going on in my life, my business, my mind and my heart. My goal
is to share with you something real....whether that is through
photography or just telling you what is going on in my life. Too often
I think that we try to put up pretty pictures, but we don't want to
show who we really are. I'm not always eloquent, and you can always depend on me to be inappropriate, but I will always try to be honest :)

Feel free to come in, leave me a message (you
know how us photographers love comments!), have a seat and stay a
while!! I promise I won't tell your boss ;)

Thanks for stopping by!

Kelly

before and after

Hey guys!  I had someone request a before and after of a shot that I got with sun flare.  Here are a couple below.
You can see most of my post work is done in Adobe Camera Raw.  I don’t spend too much time in Photoshop.
As many of you know, I shot RAW, and you can see the reason below.  I love having so much control with raw!

brooke - Do you use a flash or reflector when shooting into the sun?

Kelly - Lyndsey- Thanks for writing! Step 1: Shoot on Raw in the camera Step 2: Download images and edit them in Bridge(this comes with photoshop) Step 3: Convert to Jpg Step 4: Edit in photoshop Hope this helps!

Lyndsey Wilson - Hi, I'm just starting out with photography and I'm curious about the raw thing. Did you shoot with the camera set on raw? You say straight out of camera and then step two is after camera raw. So does that just mean that you take the pic in raw and then adjust it on the camera and then the third step is after you have transferred the pic to photoshop?? Thanks for your help!!

jessica - awesome, thanks for sharing Kelly! i just love the color on her- so soft and intense.

Angela Hubbard - you are awesome Kelly!

Kelly - Jessica- I was using a tilt shift lens

Jeanette - Very cool!! So that means I can save the one photo I took a few weeks ago :)

Sharon - thanks for sharing, kelly! :)

jessica - what lens did you shoot the girl with?!
