Welcome!

My name is Kelly Moore Clark, and I'm based out of the REAL LA...yes
Louisiana! I live here with my wonderful hubby Kelly Clark, and our way
too cute little girl, Posey, whom you will see much too often on this
blog(I can't believe I've become one of "those" mothers.)

This is where you will see my most recent work as well as
what’s going on in my life, my business, my mind and my heart. My goal
is to share with you something real....whether that is through
photography or just telling you what is going on in my life. Too often
I think that we try to put up pretty pictures, but we don't want to
show who we really are. I'm not always eloquent, and you can always depend on me to be inappropriate, but I will always try to be honest :)

Feel free to come in, leave me a message (you
know how us photographers love comments!), have a seat and stay a
while!! I promise I won't tell your boss ;)

Thanks for stopping by!

Kelly

Up Late, New Actions and LOVE ADDICT.

Yup. I’m doing the one thing I tell all of you not to do…..stay up late working!

Since LOVE ADDICT, I don’t feel like I’ve really had the chance to catch up, so I’m using the quiet, rainy, 1:30 am darkness to get some things done.

I’m sleepy

Sometime I forget I have freckles until I see a picture like this!

Why yes, I am wearing the same shirt I was wearing Saturday.

I thought this would be a good time to give you a quick update on what’s going on here.

***Blogging: I have 2 great weddings(Bickham & Huffman) to blog. I wanted to get them done this week, but It might possibly be next week before I’m able.

***Go Tech Bulldogs!!! We had an exciting weekend tailgating and watching our Dawgs beat Mississippi State!

***I’m worried that I might need glasses. I think all the time in front of the computer is messing up my vision! Holla if you hear me!

***Posey has had 2 pretty serious allergic reactions it the past 2 weeks. We think it’s wheat or blueberries…..we’re really hoping blueberries! She goes to see the doc Thursday morn, so wish us luck!

***I just bought the Boutwell’s new actions, but haven’t actually been able to try them out yet. Tonight is a good chance to do do that. I’m not sure which ones I love yet, but I had to try them out just to see.

***While at LOVE ADDICT, I really didn’t get to shoot much myself. I spent most of the photo shoot walking around watching others do their thing. I did catch a few along the way, so here they are.

You may recognize Mrs. Yaklin(now Mrs. Marks). Lindsey was one of my favorite brides last year. She and her hubby Andy live in Dallas, and I was so excited that they could model for us!

All our lovely models

Katie May hard at work getting her shot!

I’d like to thank Joanne Miranda of Joanne Designs for the AMAZING Headpieces she let us use for our models. She does such beautiful work! If you are a bride, and you are looking for something classy, funky and elegant to finish off your ensemble, Joanne has something for you!
Joanne’s work is sold at A Carolina Wedding, 17 S 2nd Street, Downtown Wilmington or you can reach her directly by phone at 910-619-7681 or call her at A Carolina Wedding, 910-762-3312. Also, her email is:

I want to thank the wonderful people at “The Apartment Dallas” for making this workshop come together so well. Not only is the venue top notch, the people were so accommodating. I would recommend The Apartment to anyone looking for something out of the ordinary.

Thanks to Sarah Gillespie a MAC Professional who did a fabulous job on the makeup!

Last but certainly not least, a big thanks to all the folks at, Tillman’s Roadhouse. We had our finale dinner at Tillman’s and they rocked our socks off. I’d never had food so eclectic and tasty! I was definitely NOT on my diet that night. I you are ever in Dallas, you have to make Tillman’s a priority!

Katie - Hey kelly, Thanks so much (again) for a wonderful time at Love Addict! It was more wonderful than I anticipated! The Hotel, The Apartment, Tillman's, YOU, everything!!!! I hope Posey's allergic reaction IS to blueberries and not wheat! but whatever it ends up being, she will be fine. I will keep you guys in my prayers. See you later!

Stevi Savage - These are so gorgeous. Just found your site through Lauren Clark's. So glad I did!

Lori Moss - Hi Kelly! These are all *wow* shots.

Kate Bickham - I definitely have those same pink pajama pants. And I definitely wear them when I pull all-nighters. Best all-nighter pants EVER.

Joanne Miranda - Hi Kelly...Thanks so much for mentioning me! The pictures are amazing, I am glad I got to help you out with my headpieces and jewelry!! Let me know if I can help out again in the future! Get some rest!! Joanne

Dustin Francis - As far as glasses go...you might need them if you're thinking so already. One thing you can do, is take frequent breaks and look at larger objects further away (like a nice, large TV...really, this works). This really helps, as you're focusing on the opposite type of things. I posted about my glasses when I got them from when I was editing 40 hours a week and I had to drop $350 on +.5 glasses, which are just like the ones you can get for $10 anywhere except for that little magnification, you need a prescription....how funky is that? Get your eyes checked out, but if they're only a little off, I think if you can manage your in-front-of the computer time, you won't need them. I wear mine once every 3-4 weeks only when I'm doing major computer work. Also, I know a monitor with a larger dot pitch (which shows less detail per square inch on screen) also helps with this. What it comes down to, is us as photographers pay attention to such minute detail in our images that it ends up affecting our eyes. Eye drops help to, because you blink much less when staring at a monitor and it dries your eyes out. The thing that got me, wasn't my eyes so much, but the horrible headaches I was getting from my eye strain. I know that was sloppy thoughts, but I just want to let you know I feel your pain, it sucks, but I think you can get around it. Rock on and great images as always!

Katherine Robertson - Hi Kelly, you are SO funny! loved the first two, you are so open and honest! The models are gorgeous,is it Love Affair or in Dallas??? love the aspen looking trees for backdrop and all the wedding dresses together! they are all gorgeous!

Jess - First, beautiful images, as usual. I can't wait to be apart of Love Addict one day!! Second, I hear ya on the computer screen. Sometimes, I forget to blink!! Hope you didn't get any weather from 'ol Gustav!

cyndi - Gorgeous pictures as always! Your talent never fails to amaze + inspire me. LOVED the pictures that were taken inside Tillman's Roadhouse. We ate there in July and can't stop talking about it. I feel head over heels for the bright turquoise sofa and instantly recognized it. So glad to hear you all enjoyed our new favorite restaurant! Did you have the homemade smores? TO DIE FOR!! Here are my hopes for you... ...get some much needed rest in the very near future. ...Posey's allergies are blueberries and not wheat! ...all is well after the storm pounded Ruston with serious rain (or so the news said). Keep us posted. You know how we need our daily "Kelly fix!"

Heather Cole - Your pictures of the models are so pretty! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. :) Hope Posey is okay and that you find out what she's allergic to. That's scary. Congrats also on the weight loss, you look amazing. :)

stacy howell - i love reading ur blog and keeping up with u guys.....especially little posey......ur pics are gorgeous as always.....hope u can sneak in a little nap sometime this week!
