Welcome to the world little Mr. Hancock! I had the privilege of photographing our good friends, Tim & Anne’s new little one today. He was only 10 days old. Andy - Love these photos. My friends asked me to shoot their newborn. I showed them the tree photos and they wouldn't go for the tree shot :( Somethin about it being dangerous or something. Great photos.

Davina - That image of her husband just totally into her with all of them sitting in that tall grass is just awesome! I love the emotion and intensity in that shot. And I love that they are just hanging out doing family stuff. All of these are so natural and fun and real.
Mandi Zimmer - Wonderful shoot. The little girl is so cute. Like the parents in the arches
Mandi Singer - Wow Kelly, these images are really stunning. Your use of light and the way that you captured the bond between the family really stand out. I agree that this is some of your most outstanding work. The shot of the couple holding the daughter with her leg hanging down just right is such a great image. Maybe you should re-think shooting families, you seem to have such a gift for really capturing their true spirit. Keep up the good work.

kevin - Kelly - I've been stalking your blog ever since my wife became a huge fan of your work when she came across it a year or two ago. These pictures made me want to reveal myself as a Kelly fan because I had to let you know that I LOVE the colors in the photos of the girls jumping and walking in the leaves - they have such a cool movie film look to them. Not to mention everything else you do with color and light and creative situations. I think you're the awesomest photographer out there!

Audra - Kelly is amazing (both as a person and as an artist). My girls (in the pics above) LOVED her! We had such a blast- she helped turn the "dreaded" photo shoot into an exciting experience. I am so thrilled with the pictures- actually shocked by Kelly's incredible artistic abilities! Wow- how in the world will I ever decide which ONE picture to put on canvas and give to my parents for their Christmas present? YIKES! Anyway- thanks to all of you for your comments! To answer your questions, the skirts came from two different places. The hot pink and black skirt (on my younger daughter) is from Toy Fair (in Shreveport, LA)-brand name is Popatu- The brown and black (actually leopard print) came from Sprout & Company (in Shreveport).. the brand name is Kaiya Eve. As for the hot pink couch- isn't it GREAT. It came from Uniquely Yours in Shreveport, LA.
